August Events in New Bedford

As we know, there is always something going on in New Bedford. We kicked off the summer with a great start, now let’s end it the same way! I know it’s hard to believe we are already almost into August, but with that being said, let me highlight a few events planned this month in New Bedford. Feast of the Blessed Sacrament

August 4-7, Madeira Field

It’s that time of year again! The largest Portuguese Feast in the world

Buzzards Bay 420 Championship

August 5- 7, Fort Taber

The Buzzards Bay 420 Championship will be run out of Fort Taber August 5-7, 2016. The event is expected to attract nearly 200 teams to enjoy the legendary fresh breeze of Buzzards Bay.

Feast in the Wild

August 11, 6-10 pm at Buttonwood Park Zoo

Delicious food from over 25 local restaurants, selection of craft beer and wine choices, live entertainment, dancing, and of course meeting some of the zoo’s favorite animal residents

August 25, 8pm at the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center
