When you’re craving something sweet, what is your go-to? It’s always nice to treat yourself every once in awhile, so I went around scouting out the best bakeries and shops to go to when you want to go the extra mile and get something truly decadent. Here are a few places you can go that will make you feel like a kid in a candy store… literally.

Black Tie Cookies, Acushnet

…for soft, ooey-gooey cookies in every flavor you can imagine

Pink Box Desserts, Dartmouth

…for pastries, macaroons, and most well-known for their beautiful array of cupcakes

Emma Jean’s, Fairhaven

…for chocolate-covered-anything, to cupcakes, candy, and ice cream

Sunrise Bakery and Coffee Shop, South Dartmouth

…for cupcakes, brownies, and other sweet pastries for just a couple bucks

Mirasol’s Cafe, Dartmouth

…for the largest variety of $1 cookies, in addition to their famous “Chippi”
